Aditi has always been excited about technology since the starry-eyed days of getting into engineering college thinking of building robots. Though the tryst has not been that straightforward!

She has spent time in different roles across financial services and strategy consulting leading up to her association with Stellaris.

At Stellaris, she will be looking to explore and learn about the upcoming trends and technology driven solutions in SaaS, healthcare, logistics and automotive space.

Her latest stint was with BCG, where she worked across industries like auto parts, IT services, AMCs, banking and education.

She has a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM Lucknow.

Aditi is a proud member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and leads marketing and content at Stellaris. While she discovers the world of investing, Aditi is responsible for building the fund’s brand, investment, and content platform, You will find her constantly engaging with portfolio companies, the founder network as well as the entrepreneurial community to keep a tab on what’s new, and the next big idea!

Her areas of interest include consumer internet, logistics, and financial services. Before joining Stellaris, Aditi was a journalist with Economic Times, where she wrote on the startups and venture capital ecosystem in India. No prizes for guessing how she met the Stellaris team!

Aditi began her career as a business and financial reporter at Reuters, covering US-based consumer goods & retail companies. She is an alumna of Delhi University and Indian Institute of Mass Communication.

Aditi likes to spend most of her free time reading, brainstorming startup ideas, playing with her 7-year-old German Shepherd, Plato, and cooking when she finds the kitchen full of her favorite ingredients. Oh yes and not to forget Netflix!

Alok Goyal

Alok Goyal

Alok’s role at Stellaris is to ensure availability of high-quality snacks in the office at all times and to make the office a fun place to hang out. When free from this role, Alok focuses on investments in SaaS, logistics and automotive. His interest in venture capital stems from the energy he derives in meetings with entrepreneurs.

He has a strong belief that to be an entrepreneur you need to not only be a dreamer but also foolish enough to pursue the dream. Entrepreneurs are, therefore, a very special breed of people, and there is something to be learned in every interaction.

Prior to Stellaris, Alok led enterprise software and outsourcing investments at Helion where he invested in Whatfix, Axtria, Pipemonk (ACQD: Freshdesk) and Linguanext (ACQD: Fidel Technologies). Previously, Alok was in various leadership roles at SAP in India and US. In his younger years, Alok worked at Siebel Systems, The McKenna Group, McKinsey & Company and Cadence Design Systems.

Alok is a relationship builder who derives his energy from meeting people. He writes a weekly blog on mathematical puzzles (, dabbles in light and classical Hindustani music, is a foodie, and maniacal about fitness.

He has B Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi, a Masters in Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Chetan GMS

Chetan is our numbers guy, and can crunch them before you blink your eye, much like Phantom for those who are old enough to remember!

At Stellaris, Chetan is responsible for Finance, Investor Reporting, Fund Administration and Compliance. He has over 16 years of experience in venture capital, consulting and accounting firms. His areas of expertise include fund finance and accounting, cross border taxation and regulatory compliance. Prior to Stellaris, Chetan worked at Helion, KPMG, Guru & Jana and Ernst & Young.

Chetan is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a Masters in Finance.

When he is not poring over Excel sheets, he likes to travel with family. He is also passionate about dogs, motorbikes and SUVs.

Mridul Gupta

Mridul Gupta

Mridul is an entrepreneur by heart and a venture capitalist by accident. He loves all things startup and has dabbled across multiple roles including founding his own financial research startup Info Assembly before joining Stellaris. His latest stint was with the strategy team at Goldman Sachs.

At Stellaris, Mridul closely looks at the technology companies in Retail, Education, Content and Payments sectors.

Mridul loves to meet entrepreneurs and work with them in their zero to one journey, help them in hiring teams, fundraising, networking and defining a go-to-market strategy.

In his free time, he likes to travel places, explore eateries, read non-fiction, enjoy HBO and play with every cool (read: useful) app that exists. He has been trying to run a half marathon since ages and like always it is still on the cards.

Mridul pursued BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and occasionally resorts to Coursera and Udacity to hone more skills.

Rahul Chowdhri

Rahul is the shopaholic in our team. Be it in the US, HK or Singapore, he always has a shopping list in hand. That must be the reason he is interested in retail space.

Rahul invests in technology companies in Retail, Education, Content and Payments space at Stellaris. He likes backing founders who are looking to make large impact in their customer’s lives. His firm belief is that Indian consumers and businesses deserve much better than current offerings in the market.

Prior to Stellaris, Rahul was a Partner at Helion, where he invested in companies like Shopclues, Bigbasket, Simplilearn and Livspace. Before he settled on investing, Rahul dirtied his hands in product management and consulting roles at Microsoft, MarketRx, i2 Technologies and BCG.

Rahul is an active sportsperson, with interests in badminton, tennis, table tennis and cricket. He loves watching movies, though not artsy ones. He always carries a book during his travels. Last we heard, the book is still waiting for him!

Ritesh is our IT Administrator who also looks at investments in his spare time.

Ritesh invests in technology companies in Healthcare, Travel and Financial Services. He has a strong interest in companies solving uniquely Indian problems, and those that apply new technology to their industry for the first time.

Prior to Stellaris, Ritesh was a Partner at Helion, where he invested in online services and healthcare companies like Taxiforsure, Lifecell and Trulymadly. Before he moved to the dark side in 2007, he was a product manager for online and mobile consumer products.

Ritesh loves to engage in conversations about technology, economics, books, comics, and cricket – basically your average social media warrior. Once upon a time, he was quite outdoorsy but now survives mostly on past glory.

He has a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from INSEAD, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore.

Roopa Ravi

Roopa Ravi

Roopa, the multi-tasker and the go-to person of the Stellaris team, makes sure that everything is in its place in the office. She is responsible for the smooth functioning of activities, taking care of minute details such as timely commencement of meetings and most importantly ensuring that the team is well fed.

Roopa has eight years of experience in different roles across the HR & Administration domains. Prior to Stellaris VP, she worked with Urban Ladder as the HR & Admin manager and Assisting Cofounder. She has also been associated with firms such as Komli Media, Y! and DTZ.

Reading, spending time with her kids, learning new things, travelling and going on Triumph Tiger rides with her husband are Roopa’s favourite past time activities.
