Job Description

The National Sales Head will own the P&L of the referral sales business pan-India. The person will
lead all cities to plan and then drive sales targets. The goal will be to make Ayu-health the top
choice for the millions of practicing doctors to refer their walk-in patients for further surgeries and
diagnostics. These doctors today engage with multiple hospitals for continuous care of their
patients but the experience for them and their patients is usually below par with the entire process
being opaque. The goal is to significantly increase the experience of these doctors, provide them
with technology and bring in transparency, thus benefiting their patients and making them part of
the Ayu Health ecosystem.

Job Profile

  • Leading, managing and scaling referral sales team pan India for driving referral business
    through stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem (doctors etc)
  • Driving important sales processes to improve sales productivity and enable scaling of the team to achieve the annual sales plan
  • A detailed understanding of the doctors, their needs and their patient base to develop a sales strategy and pitch so as to benefit their patients
  • Based on this understanding support/ guide the product development for internal team and any external products that will be needed to improve sales productivity
  • Key metrics to be focused on – a) Total referral revenue generated b) count of doctors affiliated to Ayu health c) Cost of referral business

Job Experience

  • 8-10 years of leading a sales team and driving feet on the street sales for a FMCG/ Pharma
  • Education at a top tier MBA and/or top undergraduate school
  • Preference if already worked at a B2B startup in sales role
  • Bias for action and willingness to be in the field and interact with doctors
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
